You must ensure that you have enough memory to stop your system from going down. Software firewalls allow you to manage both inbound and outbound traffic through rules or policies. These policies can be used to allow or deny your programs access to the internet and to prevent unwanted programs from invading your computer. These policies can be modified at any time by the owners.

A firewall can give you greater security than a normal firewall by protecting your computer against hackers. Hackers can find any port on your computer to gain access to your computer. There are many ports on your computer. These ports are used to connect to internet. However, they can sometimes be left open. These ports can be used to send viruses or spyware to hackers, which could allow them to take over your computer. A firewall will close all unopened ports to prevent this.
